On the weekend, I went to a Thanksgiving party. It’s not a common thing here in Australia and it was actually the first time I’d been to one.
Before we ate the glorious turkey, we had to tell the group what we were thankful for.
Why don’t we do this more often?
Being thankful for the gifts in your life is a brilliant way to make you feel instantly prosperous. It’s a reminder that you have all you need to be happy.
I’m having a tough day today. I’m getting over a bad cold, my toddler has been screaming and the baby has a runny nose. I’m at my wits’ end. But now, just thinking about that Thanksgiving lunch reminds me that life is good.
